EXAMS!!

Hellloooo Humanss!!!

Today I just wanted to take a break from the 'Looking Back' series and decided that it is time to talk about a very stressful period of academic life - exams.

I know that many of you have your main EOY exams in June, if not you probably have your GCSE's or A-level in May. I personally have my End of Year exams early this year so it starts from next week!

Therefore I just wanted to give you a bit of motivation (which I am highly lacking in) and some support.

Here's a checklist for you when revising:

- 3 main priorities/topics as a focus (for your sessions throughout the day)

- Phone far away from you (not in sight)

- A bottle of water (to drink your stress away)

- Different work environment to where you sit down for entertainment

- Stomach is not empty (at least full of a few pieces of fruit)

- A clear and happy/motivated mindset

Remember, take care of yourself and take breaks - no over-stressing yourself in this territory!

It is important that you do go out of your work environment/room to go on walks or meet other people so you don't fall down the rabbit hole of exam stress and anxiety.

I know it is very hard to stay motivated constantly but motivation doesn't just happen and once you do feel motivated you won't be able to stay motivated for long unfortunately.

So you need to create your own way to stay motivated so here's a tip: try and do any topic/work that you need to complete for 2 or 5 minutes, then that should get you in to the mode for working because you think that you already started so you might as well complete it. (This is the only way I get motivation when I am not on a study call with my friends and just don't feel like revising).

Good luck to all of those people who have exams but also remember exams come and go but what you have learned in the process (whether it be time management skills or memorising techniques) will be useful for a lifetime.

Don't stress out too much and YOU WILL DO WELL!

I believe in you.

After all, only a few more weeks to go..
