Hello Humannssssss!!!
Firstly, I want to applaud everyone who takes the train on a regular basis, I mean imagine facing the struggles of: finding a seat, catching the train, not losing your ticket, not catching yourself in awkward social situations and as a whole having a non tiring trip!
Anyway, I just wanted to talk about my trip with Pansy, HarryPotterFan and my bro.
We decided to catch two trains to go to the Museums in London (The art one and V&A).
Let's just say my biggest problem and challenge was fighting off the Pigeons, but thankfully we were only spending our time in London inside (the museum).
Oh and not to mention the two occasions of losing cards - no not UNO or playcards but Bank cards!
My brother being irresponsible lost the card temporarily when I asked him how he said: "I put the card aside on the tray to take a photo" - I swear I face-palmed myself at his remark. I mean that was a perfect l place to get your card robbed!
Ok, so I sorted off mini vented my experience so far but I also want you to hear about our experience from a different perspective so I welcome Pansy once again onto my blog!!!
Once we got down, we eventually got sidetracked by a pathway that led to many artefacts we hadn’t planned to see.
Seeing the free entry, we stepped in and marvelled at historical memories from different parts of the world. Dating from BC to the modern day, this museum didn’t fail to keep providing our minds with pleasant surprises, information automatically flowing along. Unfortunately, we had only explored almost 30% of the museum in total; considering this was unplanned, this was actually a decent amount!
We time travelled through the Renaissance period, absorbing knowledge through objects. We each took turns in a book based on a French noble’s life in different accents, helping to retain the information in our minds. We also examined intricate objects mainly based in England and France. It was quite an experience!
After exploring rooms and intricate designs, our stomachs were begging for fuel. Thus, we stopped at an outdoor cafe after failing to find the indoor one (in fact, we found that a few hours later on accident). We rated the food a 5/10 : after all, food is food!
After lunch, we went through different countries’ cultures, from Japan to India. It was very diverse and it pleased me to see the artefacts from many lives around the world.
A main highlight for me was the theatre room, where my friends and I ventured through the land of stage performance. It was an enjoyable experience pretending to try on costumes used in different plays and admiring the stages.
Another experience was the jewellery room, which had jewellery from 5 BC to the modern era all organised and some dazzling. We took pictures of our favourite ornament as a visual souvenir; I chose a tiara Queen Victoria had chosen with Prince Albert.
By this time, our clocks were ticking quicker than our eyes to comprehend so we decided to get a move-on at the science museum, unable to tear our eyes away at the spectacular objects this museum had provided us with.
Seeing as how Pansy basically gave you a full and detailed overview of everything we did by the museum I feel very lazy lol!
Thank you so much Pansy! :D
Ok, I hope you enjoyed this week's blog, see you next week with another concept...
