Planning to plan?

Helloooo Humansss!!! Sometimes I don't realise but I'm pretty sure writing blogs are my coping mechanism apart from being a way to help out others from making the same mistakes as me or sharing a few experiences (good and bad).

Today I'm here to talk about the importance of planning ahead.

Let's start by talking about why I've suddenly been enlightened on this.

Usually, I'm a pretty organised and planned person, but a few weeks ago my family was attacked with the cough and cold going around and it just made its way to me recently.

What has this got to do anything? - it is to do with everything.

The wonderful illness caused me to feel fatigued every time I wanted to work or do something (along with the other more annoying side effects). And slowly the systems I have in place to stay planned and organised jumped off a cliff.

My to-do lists weren't being updated, therefore I forgot about deadlines for homework, I forgot about my own deadlines for buying things and completing projects and even small tasks like washing my uniform (thank goodness my mum remembered).

It may seem like all of this happened solely because of me falling ill, which is true to an extent, but beyond that, this was a time when I actually learnt how important it was for me to keep using these systems as they actually helped me greatly.

And before I was ill, I did have the odd day or two where I would just not be bothered to update my to-do list for example and that meant I forgot about something important.

The point I'm trying to make is, we live in a world bustling with opportunities and work we've got to complete, so why not plan ahead and keep our stress levels controlled - there's no need to have stress spikes when exams and tests provide an unlimited buffet of stress.

I am aware that this post is relatively shorter to my usual posts, but I'm going to use the: 'I'm ill card'. I did talk a lot about planning ahead so maybe in one of my future posts I'll talk about tips on how to do that effectively, anyhow, for now, I hope you take this reminder into account - that planning ahead does help. - Ravitreni Signing Off
